Our Team
Meet the e-NABLE at UVA executive team
Grace Burns
I’m passionate about creating innovative solutions in prosthetics and medical devices, especially through CAD and 3D printing, which I’ve been exploring hands-on with my own printer. I currently shadow in UVA’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Department, where I’ve been learning firsthand about patient care and device design for the past year. I also work in a research lab focused on choroideremia, contributing to efforts that advance treatments for rare genetic diseases. I enjoy combining creativity, engineering, and science to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Isabel Hutcheson
I'm passionate about 3D printing and biomedical engineering, with a focus on translational research to bring technologies from the lab to real-world applications. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and surrounding myself with friends and family.
Franny Stroik
I am dedicated to creating high-quality prosthetic devices through CAD, seeing it as the foundation of E-NABLE's mission to provide innovative medical support and improve access to healthcare. As CAD Lead, I focus on ensuring successful sizing and appropriate printing while fostering a positive learning environment that supports students in developing their technical skills. I am passionate about establishing partnerships with UVA Health and local clinics to identify potential prosthetic recipients in the Charlottesville community. I believe in combining my technical skills with community-based engagement to advance E-NABLE's mission of providing free prosthetic devices to those in need.
Philip Mascia
I'm very passionate about the field of prosthetics and orthotics, more specifically the different types of innovatiive ways they can be constructed, which describes this club. I am a student observer at the UVA Health Prosthetics and Orthotics Department, and have been able to see firsthand both the clinical and technical side of prosthetics. It has been a great experience, and has really opened my eyes to what an amputee must go through on an every day basis. However, not everyone can afford a hospital-made prosthetic, which is where we come in. I am looking forward to helping others who are in need of low cost prosthetics, and am excited for the projects to come!
Saanvi Tatineni
I’m extremely interested in prosthetics and medical devices, with a focus on using 3D printing to develop creative and effective solutions. I’ve always been fascinated by how prosthetics can help restore mobility and independence, which is why I’m passionate about this club. I’m especially excited to contribute to e-NABLE’s upcoming projects and collaborate on designs that can make a real impact. Outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball, baking, and spending time with friends!
Kasey Prybylski
I'm very passionate about solving biomedical engineering problems with creative solutions, specifically using CAD and 3D printing to develop innovations that can be applied in clinical settings. I am extremely interested in prosthetics and orthotics and creating life-changing devcies that can help restore mechanical functions for those in need. I look forward to all of e-NABLE's upcoming projects to make a real difference in people's lives. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going on hikes, and baking.
Nathan Eberhart
My dad lost his leg when I was a year old, so having grown up around prosthetics, I've become very passionate about it. Finding ways to make prosthetics more accessible using technologies like CAD and 3D printing is extremely important to me as I've seen firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate this field and find the right device for you. As a part of the e-NABLE team I hope to make a tangible difference in people's lives. In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, and reading.
